Straight Talk on Capital Projects
Richard is the author of Straight Talk on Capital Projects, an ongoing series examining the owner-side issues that influence project outcomes long before construction begins.
Rather than focusing on budgets, schedules, or construction management, the articles explore executive decision-making, governance, organizational dynamics, institutional knowledge, cost exposure, and risk from the perspective of an owner’s representative and capital programs executive.
A Perspective Shaped by Experience
Programs and projects are never just about buildings.
They are about the organizations making the decisions behind them.
That understanding continues to shape Richard’s work with clients and the perspectives shared through Straight Talk on Capital Projects.
